Ocean Data Systems, a leading supplier of “out of the box” production floor to enterprise reporting tools has released version 3.0 of Dream Report™.

Building on the functionality of version 2.0, this latest version has increased connectivity performance for both OPC and Open Database Connectivity, increased networking connectivity between Dream Report™ stations, increased reporting functionality with SQL technology integration. The integration of new features position Dream Report™ as the most intuitive and easy to use reporting tool for Automation Processes available in the market.

A new feature for version 3.0 is the Batch Report function. This enables companies to comply with requirements for batch production, giving all of the relevant details of batch components etc, which are required for traceability and quality control.

To satisfy the needs of large corporations, Dream Report 3.0 is network ready, enabling bi-directional communication between Dream Report Stations, helping businesses to create a scaleable solution for all their data manipulation and reporting requirements to improve business efficiency and safety.
Dream Report’s database has increased throughput performance enabling scaleable deployment in large corporations using multi data sources across the organization.

The integration of Ocean Data Systems technology with standard SQL technology into Dream Report™ objects, creates a unique SPC solution for companies, enabling easy access to vital data.

Finally, Dream Report 3.0 integrates new features such as, the “Advanced Display Options” to replace values by strings to facilitate report understanding, a powerful “Macro function” to interact automatically with other applications, “Dynamic Report Generator” to control and drive report execution from an ActiveX container or from a Web base application.
